Conference Planning and Management (CPM) is your resource for conferences and special events at Iowa State University, across Iowa and beyond! Our experienced team has successfully managed local, regional, national and international events both on campus and outside the state. Whether you are faculty, staff, a student group at Iowa State University, or simply are interested in hosting your event at Iowa State University or elsewhere, we are here to help!

We have delivered great conference experiences for events ranging from 15 to 15,000 attendees—whether in the classroom, across our campus and community, or halfway around the world.

Every event we support is assigned a dedicated planner who serves as your main point of contact, and a secondary planner to help oversee the planning process or assist with additional on-site needs. Your planner is your advocate, ensuring nothing gets lost in translation. From first concept to event closeout, we'll manage the conversations, planning, and finances for suppliers and attendees, so you can focus on the content.

You’ll work with one planner from initial intake to post-event follow-up, backed by the full expertise of the Conference Planning team.
